The first
room is dedicated to the various aspects of the everiday life.
The second room of
the Museum evokes the forum. In the centre, we meet the maquette (scale
of 1/50) of what was the sanctuary of the imperial cult erected during
the last quarter of the I st centuryI.
The third room evokes,
through some sculptures, mosaics and fragments of stuccoes and frescoes,
the refined atmosphere where the richest families lived, show some
good pieces of architectonical elements of the period that followed
to the Swabian invasion. |

In
the fourth room objects
are exposed, related to the religion (pagan and christian), to the
superstitions and to the cult of the dead practiced by the inhabitants
of Conimbriga.
