The building of the patera Emanuel is just a building incompletely dug,
because of its location and of the development that the Luso-French excavations
took.
All West and North facade is known and the structure of the constructions
can be guessed, but cannot of coursebe described in detail. Along the street
of the patera Emanuel there seems to have open successive residential units,
composed by an uncertain number of divisions, probably two, that would constitute
a substantial part of the structure of the building in its whole - this
restitution seems to impose itself for the North sector, but it is less
safe for the South sector, that may have been another building (although
the alignment of its structures is not dissimilar).
The total area of this group is almost of 600 m2, divided approximately
by two blocks of equivalent dimensions, the Northern seemingly divided in
six independent units, and the Southern in four, where the accesses to the
interior of the insula and eventual upper floors would have been located.
